Kareena Kapoor: The deal with Kareena is not final yet, Bhandarkar!

If everything goes right then Kareena Kapoor will do the famous Marilyn Monroe upskirt, which made her an overnight Hollywood sensation back in 1955. It is being reported that the National Award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar is making a movie on the life of legendry Marilyn Monroe, and his first choice is Bebo, aka Kareena Kapoor.

People say that it’s once in a life time opportunity, and any actress will die to step into the shoes of Seven Year’s Itch star Marilyn Monroe, but this is not the case with our pouty lass here.

Reportedly, Bhandarkar has revealed in a recent interview that the deal with Kareena is not final yet, and she is yet to say yes to his movie. Though he didn’t cite any reasons behind this, but there are some problems between them since the days of Page 3. He had offered Page 3 to Kareena and she quoted a hefty amount. Bhandarkar had no choice left and he went ahead with Konkana and the rest is history.

‘We know each other for years. We both admire each other’s work. In ‘Page3′ we wanted to work together but there were some economic problems because of which we couldn’t. I met her and we have spoken on it, but we need to sit for couple of times. Once it’s decided we will make the announcement,’ revealed Madhur

We all know that since Page 3, a lot of water has flown down the stream, but one thing is still unchanged. Kareena still costs a bomb! Whereas Madhur is known to makes good movies with a very low budget. When asked whether money is still a problem, he said that it’s not that a big problem, because he known that he has got a good script.

‘I am starting two films. I will speak about it later,’ said Madhur

He said about the Page 3 controversy, ‘It’s not because she was quoting a very high price. It was because our budget of the film was very less. The dates were also clashing. I think she was doing ‘Chameli’ at the time, I wanted to start my film.

Well, anyway, we just want to see Kareena holding her ‘blown up’ skirt!
