Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan: The Movie Cast Review of Ravana!

With the hot summer turning into super hot sultry weather, our bollywood actresses also have got affected in the heat. After it was Bipasha Basu, who went in for a totally short hair cut, now we have the hot and sexy Lara Dutta,going the Bipasha way, by chopping up her tresses to a very short cut!

Lara Dutta, who has been sporting middle length hair ever since she came into the industry, with the film ‘Andaaz, with Priyanka Chopra and Akhsay Kumar, has been seen in long hair or rather hair extensions too ,in films like ‘Billu’.

Lara’s other films, like ‘Khakee’, ‘Masti’,’Kaal’, ‘No Entry’,’ Partner’, ‘Blue’, etc, have all seen her in the mid length to short cut hair. Her recent to be released multistar cast film, ‘Houseful’, will see her in long hair (extensions again).

But, just as summer has creeped in, this beauty with brains has gone for a complete make over. Insiders reveal that this look is suiting the bubbly Lara to the hilt. Everyone who’s seen her recently is saying that Lara has never looked so fresh and happy before.

Now, we wonder whether the hot sexy siren looks happy and cool due to her hair cut, or is it due to the fact that her to be released film ‘houseful’, which is being touted as one big film of the year, really making LaraMani Ratnam`s Ravaan has been in news  for quite a time. It’s a much anticipated film of the year and is almost finalized for May 21 release.

However, the trailers are released now. Raavan is a multi-lingual Indian  movie which is going to get released in Hindi and Tamil at the same time. Mani Ratnam`s Raavan is a present day version of the Indian epic Ramayana which depics the same old story of Rama whose wife Sita is kidnapped by Ravana, the demon king of Lanka.The audio of the movie will be releasing on 24th April 2010.

Mani Ratnam had earlier directed Thalapathi which had a lot of resemblance to the Mahabharata. He certainly seems to have a lot of interest in Indian epics.

Ravaan movie CAST and CREW:

The film has all big names associated with it which includes Director and Producer Mani Ratnam, Musician A.R. Rahman and actors Abhishek Bachan, Aishwarya Rai Bachan and Vikram with legendery lyricist Gulzar.

There was a lot of controversy regarding the title of the movie early on. The Tamil Version was earlier named as Ashokavanam. However, now the director is persisting with Raavan. Multi-talented South Indian actor Simbu has lent his voice for Abhishek Bachchan for his upcoming movie Ravana. According th the director, Simbu's voice will suit Junior Bachchan.

Ravaan movie STORY:

The film is inspired from the events of Ashokavanam episode in the Ramayana. The other phases (kaands) of Ramayana are not depicted in detail. Basically, the story is revolved around Raavan (Vikram) who is desperate to take a revenge on a police officer Ram (Prithviraj) who was responsible for the death of his sister.

Meanwhile, Ram gets married to his love Sita (Aishwarya Rai). But on the very next day of the marriage Raavan manages to take the revenge by kidnaps Janaki and taking her away. The story goes in strange direction after that. Sita comes to know of the real Ram but falls in love with Raavan. In the end, a fight took place between Raavan Vikram and Ram Prithvi where Ram was victorious. However, Sita refuses to go with Ram and stays with Raavan.
