Kangana Ranaut's 'Tanu Weds Manu' on going: “Tanu Weds Manu”, which will see the fresh pairing of Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan, was initially titled “Manu Weds Tanu” but the name was changed at the lead actress’ behest.Director Anand Rai felt “Manu Weds Tanu” was an appropriate title, but Kangana who plays Tanu in the film, insisted that the title should be “Tanu Weds Manu” and not “Manu Weds Tanu” because the narrative unfolds from Tanu’s point of view, said a source.
The director was taken aback, but Kangana explained her point saying Tanu, a small town, wild girl, is the one in the commanding position compared to Madhavan’s character Manu who is shown as a simple NRI guy in the comedy.
When the director spoke to Madhavan, thinking he would get upset, the actor saw the point immediately and readily agreed with Kangana.
“It’s true that the film was earlier titled ‘Manu Weds Tanu’. However, we felt that ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ was a more suitable title, according to the demands of the script. So we decided to go with ‘Tanu Weds Manu’,” said Rai.
The film will release Feb 25.

Madhavan Reject Offer from Remake 3 Idiots in Tamil And Telugu
Madhavan Reject Offer from Remakeing 3 Idiots in Tamil And Telugu Version: “It’s final and confirmed. I am unfortunately unable to do 3 Idiots in Tamil and Telugu. I am really sorry about that”, tweets Madhavan. The actor has refused Shankar’s offers of repeating his role in Tamil and Telugu remake along with Vijay, Silambarasan, and Mahesh Babu.
Previously, buzzes were that the actor wasn’t keen on repeating the roles in remakes as he felt that the originality will be lost. However, the actor’s reason for refusing this big offer is his prior commitments with other projects. Of course, the actor has signed lots of Hindi projects that include Abbas Tyrewala’s Jhootha hee Sahi, previously titled as “1-800-Love’. The film has Bollywood’s hunk John Abraham in lead role with A. R. Rahman scoring music.
Apart from this, Maddy plays lead role of Manu in Anand Rai’s comedy entertainer Tanu weds Manu with Kangana Ranaut. His other Hindi film Sunglass is again a family entertainer that revolves around the seven-year itch between a married couple (played by Madhavan and Konkona Sen Sharma) and changes taking place in their lives with the arrival of an antique sunglass.
