Kareena Kapoor Playing Roll as tomboy in Golmaal 3

Kareena Kapoor will be playing a tomboy character for the first time in Golmaal 3, being directed by Rohit Shetty.

It is learnt that while the director was writing the story, he decided to give Kareena's typically glamorous image a break in the film and offer her an unusual part. He didn't want her to do the glam doll act once again. He wanted her to be part of the gang of boys comprising Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Shreyas Talpade.

Going casual
The source reveals, "Kareena will sport casual wear in the film. No designer dresses, shoes and bags for her. She will play a badass who spouts abusive tapori language and rides around on a bike. She will be seen doing dadagiri like boys in gangs."

Bebo admits, "My look in Golmaal 3 is non-glamorous. It's young and grunge and keeping the weather and look of Goa in mind. I play a tomboy but with a feminine touch. Though I will be using tapori language it won't be too abusive or vulgar. It will be in keeping with my persona."

Shetty adds, "I wanted to give Kareena a new image in Golmaal 3. She's 'one of the boys' in the film, and will sport minimal make-up. She is talking with Manish Malhotra and they will come up with the right look for her part. I have tried not to make her use too much foul language or abusive lingo. Her whole look and hair will be undergoing a thorough change. Her character in the film is not that rich. We are all looking forward to teaching Bebo some exciting language. She's already become one goonda now!"

Keeping Bebo real
Manish Malhotra says, "I feel that whenever Bebo plays a real character she does it the best (like Jab We Met or 3 Idiots). The look for Bebo is a believable one with simple clean lines. I will pick up some clothes for her in Bangkok and Dubai for her. She will be wearing summer tops and T-shirts. In fact, I will be designing and creating some special T-shirts for her. Rohit didn't want jeans or shorts but drawstring pants in ivory or white. It's something like Amanda Seyfried sported in Mamma Mia! - Mediterranean casual chic."

Priyanka Chopra action being shot in the Brazilian landscape

After having finalized for the season of reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, actress Priyanka Chopra, who has replaces khiladi (action) Akshay Kumar, is on her way to Brazil!

According to latest reports, the actress who is to play hostess in the show, with 13 cricketers as tough fighters, for the title of the bravest Khiladi of all, it is in deed going to be one of a kind show, with the entire action being shot in the Brazilian landscape.

Reports suggesting hat the original action man Akshay Kumar may be roped in as a guest appearance on the show, are also doing the rounds. The first season of the show was shot in Bangkok, last year, the second season was shot entirely in South Africa and now, with the 3rd season, the exotic locales of Brazil are on the cards.

Priyanka Chopra, who was heard saying that it was almost impossible for her to be in Akshay Kumar’s shoes, seems to be quite excited on being selected as the anchor of the show.

The first film of hers with Akshay was ‘Andaaz’, and their chemistry on screen had created quite a furor. Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif Bidding Seprately in IPL 2010

The Salman Khan Katrina Kaif on and off relationship status, will perhaps, never stop going around.

It seems, the two are destined to be in the gossip columns, with no fault of theirs. Recently, during the IPL bidding in Chennai, the two had gone to the same venue, albeit separately.

Salman Khan had gone to bid for the Pune team for his own self. He had been very keen and confident on getting the hold of the team. There was even a bash, which had been planned on Saturday, in celebration.

As the results were declared, Sallu bhai was very disappointed, as the winning bid was given to the Sahara Group. It was even reported that, Salman Khan had smelt a rat, saying that something was surely wrong. Someone had played a vicious game in not allowing him to get hold of the team.

On the other hand, Katrina Kaif, who had gone for the bid, was only accompanying her friend. This friend (girl) had gone to bid for the Adani Group from Ahmedabad, for the same team, Pune. The two stars, in spite of being in the same venue, had nothing to do with each others presence there. So, there, there was nothing fishy, you see?

Aamir Khan's first ever stage performance On Super Stars Ka Jalwa

The film industry’s perfectionist, Aamir Khan who till date has turned down several offers from the small screen, will finally be seen on STAR CINTAA – ‘Super Stars Ka Jalwa’ for his first ever stage performance.

Media reports, “Even though, initially when approached by Star CINTAA, Aamir had to postpone the shoot due to a serious leg injury but true to his word, he recuperated and completed the shoot in record time in spite of not having too much experience of performing on stage.”

Seen sharing the spotlight on stage will be few stars like Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and R. Madhavan giving him a company and shaking a leg to the latest flick 3 idiot’s tracks like ‘Zoobie Doobie’ with Kareena Kapoor and ‘All Izz Well’ with remaining two idiots.

Bollywood Actress Amrita Rao walks the ramp for Namrata

Leading designers Namrata Joshipuria and G. Pia Flemings showcased their exclusive collection for Fiama Di Wills, the associate sponsor of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2010 is set to showcase the grand collection, and 75 designers are participating in the much awaited event starting from March 24.

Mumbai-based designer Namrata Joshipuria showcased her collection titled 'Narcotic love… Elemental Strength'.

The collection explored many of the theme designs, which are Namrata''s signature like embellishments, unique use of colour and the contemporary shades.

“The collection as you know is titled Narcotic love… Elemental Strength. So the collection is basically about a woman who is addicted to love. Narcotic is an addiction but she gets her strength so it''s a sensual and a strong collection," said Joshipuria.

Bollywood actress Amrita Rao walked the ramp for Namrata.

"Today I'm very happy that I've come here through Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week and Fiama Di Wills which is a close associate and I''ve introduced two designers," said Rao.

The other designer who showcased her collection was G. Pia Flemings and it was titled Red Carpet Collection.

The collection was inspired by the Italian Opera.

Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week is one of the major business-to-business fashion fete.

The fashion week would provide a stage to 19 new designers to showcase their talent and make a place for themselves in the glamorous industry.
