In the movie directed by Indra Kumar, Mallika reportedly plays Sanjay Dutt’s wife while Kangana Ranaut plays the saucy secretary.

From what we hear, Kangana’s bagging of the role that’s being described as sexy has made Mallika restive.

The lady obviously considers oozing oomph on screen as her exclusive domain and she’s not going to be sidelined by any one.

So no surprises that the birdies from the film’s sets coo about how Mallika has been bonding with everyone on the sets but Kangana.

The lady is often spotted joshing and joking with her male co-stars that include Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Ashish Chowdhry and Javed Jaffrey apart from Sanjay Dutt.

But when it comes to Kangana, Mallika is formal and cold.

Mallika Sherawat’s new Englsh Film 'Politics of Love' - Pics: More emphatically than her detractors had expected, Mallika Sherawat has managed to get a foothold in Hollywood. While the long wait for her much-hyped thriller Hissss seems unending, the lady is also looking forward to her first full-length English feature film Politics of Love which is set in the days preceding the election of President Barack Obama in 2008.

In the movie, Mallika plays an idealistic Obama campaigner who falls for a young African American campaigning for John McCain. Divided by political fault-lines, will the two discover love and be happy in it?

Politics of Love is directed by William Dear. The film also stars Loretta Devine, Ruby Dee, Gerry Bednob, Gabrielle Dennis and Sueann Han.

Mallika Sherawat holds the distinction of being the first Bollywood actress to have kissed a snake in her upcoming thriller Hissss directed by Jennifer Lynch.

Mallika was expectedly queasy before the liplock with the serpent and it took a lot of egging on from Lynch and many retakes for Mallika to get the kiss right.

“In my previous films, I had to kiss - but they were all humans. Here, I was kissing a snake with Jennifer yelling out to me, ‘Mallika, look passionate, you are the naagin’. There were so many retakes and the snake was rubbery, slimy,” Mallika is quoted as saying in an interview.

Her fans have been waiting a long time for the release of Hissss. Now, the good news is that the film will finally make it to the theatres on October 22. And guess what? Mallika is already hissssing with excitement.

Dia has been in news lately for her water woes as her building has been getting contaminated water for a few days now.

"Media showed up at the building to do a story on water contamination. For once it was my neighbors facing the camera and not me :) she tweeted on September 26.

"If this media attention results in action I will be very happy! It is really scary the kind of water we are being supplied with." she added.

The song and dance sequence is set in the early eighties, something you are reminded about when you see Akshay Kumar's attire, not when you see Aishwarya's - She looks far too beautiful for you to notice anything else about her.

We did notice what she was wearing though - because we saw the freaking promo scores of times - and we loved Aishwarya's colorful attire, mostly saris.

Even more, we loved the way Aishwarya tried to do justice to the retro theme of the film with exaggerated hip movements while dancing.

Abhishek Bachchan in ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’ first look: He has mastered the art of making period films. After making movies like Lagaan and Jodhaa Akbar, director Ashutosh Gowariker is back with Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey which is based on a book by Manini Chaterjee on Chittagong Uprising of 1930. The tall, dark, handsome Abhishek Bachchan plays freedom fighter Masterda Surya Sen, and the beautiful Deepika Padukone plays his comrade Kalpana Datta.

On the fateful day of April 18, 1930, with barely 65 people and extremely limited resources, Surya Sen and his revolutionaries attempted the Chittagong armoury raid against a fully trained and equipped military machine of British invaders. The little group took on forces numbering several thousand at police armoury and hoisted there the Indian national flag.

The film is entirely shot in Goa and is scheduled for a worldwide release on 3 December 2010. The music of the movie is composed by Sohail Sen and lyrics are by Javed Akhtar.

Deepika Padukone signed three new Films!: Did anyone try to write her off after the debacle of Lafangey Parindey? Well, those who did better note that Deepika Padukone is here to stay. Not only is she looking forward to the release of her two films - Break Ke Baad with Imran Khan and Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se with Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika has signed three new films.

“I have signed three new films, one is a new director called Rohit Dhawan, he is David Dhawan's son and his film is called Desi Boys with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham. So, that is one film,” Deepika is quoted as saying in an agency report.

Talking about the other two films, she added: “The one after that is Vishal Bharadwaj's film and the film after that is a film directed by Homi Adajania. He has made a film called Being Cyrus, and that film is being produced by Illuminati Films, the same films that produced Love Aaj Kal, and that is with Imran Khan.”

Deepika who used to be a model before she joined Bollywood also said that she enjoys acting in films much more than modelling.
