Bipasha Basu Scared from mid-air flying!

Bipasha Basu News: Phobia of flying is something the actors can’t afford to have, particularly when their job requires them to travel extensively over long distances.

Bipasha Basu, who isn’t very comfortable flying, had a nightmarish experience while flying from Diu to Mumbai on a chartered plane after a schedule of Priyadarshan’s movie Aakrosh earlier this week.

Usually Bipasha avoids flying in small aircrafts because they get shaky in air turbulence, but since everyone in the film’s unit, including Ajay Devgan, Reema Sen, Priyadarshan and Robin Bhatt were flying through the small six-seater chartered flight, Bipasha too tagged along, only to regret later on.

What she feared came to pass. The plane hit air turbulence. Bipasha says everyone in the plane was tossed about in their seats. While Ajay and Reema made light of it and even joked that the plane was going to crash, Bipasha panicked. She was so scared that she kept reciting the Gayatri Mantra throughout the flight.

“I think I must have chanted it at least 3000 times on that flight. Fortunately, the plane landed safely. I hate flying,” Bipasha is quoted as saying in a tabloid report.
