Salman Khan VEER script has traces of his relationship with father Salim!!

Salman Khan, the macho super star of bollywood who plays the lead in Anil Sharma’s upcoming flick ‘Veer’ opposite stunning Zarine Khan, is said to have been deeply influenced by his relationship with father Salim Khan while writing the script for the film.

As the upcoming flick ‘Veer’ is based on father-son relationship (Mithun Chakravorthy plays father to Salman Khan and Sohail Khan), Salman Khan based this relationship largely on his own experience with Salim Khan. Sources say that Salim Khan and Salman Khan have a very friendly relationship but the former was very strict and disciplined in matters of decorum and education.

In fact, once in childhood when Salman flunked in his maths paper, he could not gather courage to face his father. But finally, when he informed about the whole thing, Salim was very understanding and told him to concentrate more on his studies next time. A similar sweet but disciplined script has been written by Salman Khan for his upcoming flick ‘Veer’, which even his father loved.

The movie has been set in eighteenth century British India when there were small territories under local rulers. The shooting has taken place on real locations in India and abroad. Its total cost has gone up to about Rs 50 crores. Miss UK Lisa Lazarus also plays an important role in the flick.

‘Veer’ is produced by Vijay Galani and due for a worldwide release on January 22. Sources close to production house say that though it is a period flick but has all the ingredients of laughter, romance and emotions, which are generally not associated with such type of films.

The film is important for Salman Khan’s bollywood career as after his last super hit flick ‘Wanted’, the other two ‘Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna’ and ‘ London Dreams’ had not done any spectacular business at the box office.

Salman Khan is playing the part of a Pindari warrior in the film, which is being directed by Anil Sharma of ‘Gadar’ fame. Zarine Khan, who is not only gorgeous looking but also has some resemblance to bollywood hottie Katrina Kaif, enacts the part of a Rajput Princess.
