Ranbir Kapoor's next bulky bulk 'Barfee'
Ranbir Kapoor's next bulky bulk 'Barfee': Katrina Kaif’s alleged boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor may be a lean guy as of now. But better get a good look at him coz he is not going to stay the same. Ranbir shall soon get bulkier since he has decided to put on some extra pounds for his next film ‘Barfee’.
Earlier titled as ‘Silence’, ‘Barfee’ shall feature Ranbir in a dumb and deaf character. However, it’s no emotional melodrama but a comic caper and Ranbir shall be honing his comic skills for this film.
Director Anurag Basu, being a die hard admirer of Charlie Chaplin, wanted Ranbir to take cues from his films and imitate his style. However, Ranbir came with an idea of his own. He suggested that he better sketch out his character in a Mr. Bean-like way coz the new generation would easily relate to him.
Anurag was mightily impressed with the idea and now Ranbir has been asked to put on some weight so that he looks more like his character. Hence, currently, Ranbir is sinking his teeth into fatty food and trying to gain some flab; something that comes so easily to Kapoor Khandan.
So, how will our Saawariya look in his plumper avatar? Any guesses?

Kareena Kapoor's Love and Bollywood Khans
Kareena Kapoor's Love and Bollywood Khans: Bollywood’s sexy diva Kareena Kapoor seems to be one Khan girl. After all, she has a sparkling camaraderie with almost all the Khans.
Actress of ‘3 Idiots’ is all gaga about Aamir Khan. She was ecstatic after working with him and had hailed him as the God of Bollywood. She was also eager to do a film with him as soon as possible. And behold, she is now a part of Aamir’s next with Reema Kagti.
Kareena has also been quite friendly with Shahrukh Khan and has worked with him in films like ‘Asoka’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam’ and the upcoming ‘Ra. One’. And talk of Salman Khan, Kareena has already worked with him in a couple of films ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’ and ‘Kyunki…’. Though both the flicks were disappointing at the box office, their 3rd one ‘Bodyguard’ may turn the tables for them in Eid 2011.
Kareena, of course, is the girlfriend of Saif Ali Khan and now she has voiced her adoration for the cutest and the youngest Khan- Imran Khan. She has cited, “He (Imran) looks good and he’s handsome. I think he is the next generation super-star.” Both are to do a film together in ‘Short Term Shaadi.’
With all the Khans in her good books, the killer lady, surely, knows the tricks of the trade.

Salman wants to credit money into his account for attending 'Koffee With Karan'
Salman wants to credit money into his account for attending 'Koffee With Karan': Salman Khan will be seen on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan but it comes at a cost! No, he's not asked Karan to ditch his best friend and Salman's arch rival SRK but instead is charging a whopping 50 lakhs to come for his show.
An industry source told Mumbai Mirror, "Sometime back, Karan had asked Bhai (Salman) to come on the show. And Bhai told him that he was willing to come on the show if he was paid."
Karan pointed out to the Dabangg actor that none of the guests on the show were paid to which Salman said that he didn't want money for himself but for his charity, Being Human.
Buzz is that since the channel will not shell out that kind of money, Karan is willing to personally pay the actor to have him on the show.
No one knows if Salman Khan was serious or was he just pulling KJo's leg!

No one to pull the release date of Aamir Khan's 'Dhobi Ghat'?
No one to pull the release date of Aamir Khan's 'Dhobi Ghat'?: Aamir Khan has the power and he doesn't even make an effort to flaunt it. No wonder, with his decision to pull the release date of his next, Dhobi Ghat, from February to January (21st to be precise), he is getting a clear road ahead with no traffic whatsoever, what with Abhishek Bachchan starrer Game moving to a later date as well.
Says a veteran industry insider, "Game was earlier all set to release on 21st January. The date was announced months ago and with the film's principal shoot being through, there were plans lined up to cut the theatrical promo as well."
One was surprised though with the stance taken by Game to stick on to its original release plans. After all two other biggies had silently moved away from the same date with Vishal Bhardwaj's Saat Khoon Maaf and Madhur Bhandarkar's Dil To Baccha Hai Ji planning to arrive later on. However, as things stand today, the makers of Game have announced a new date,18th March, and in the process have steered clear of Aamir Khan's film (despite it being a low budget offbeat experimental cinema).
Ritesh Sidhwani, producer of Game along with Farhan Akhtar confirms, "Yes, we are not coming on 21st January anymore. It is 18th March for us." One also suspects if this was a goodwill gesture, given the fact that the producers are anyways working with Aamir Khan for their next outing (to be directed by Reema Kagti). After all it won't be fair to clash with the same actor at the box office with whom they have already begun collaboration.
Aamir Khan "No, that was not the case", Ritesh kills the speculation here, "We are not yet ready with our film and needed more time for post production. Since it looked difficult to get Game ready in February as well, we are now aiming for March."
This makes good business as well as commercial sense after all. There has been a heavy dose of films right through the last quarter of 2010. January doesn't look any better with half a dozen major films anyways planned for release. Moving ahead to March means that Game has a field wide open for it to enjoy all the perks that come along with a solo release as well as zilch competition.
Point to be noted though is that World Cup cricket would be in its full fervour during March. A 'game' like this in the middle of some intense game of cricket should indeed bring in all the thrills, both on the big as well as the small screen.

Kareena Kapoor's look in "Kambakkht Ishq" is being touted as her most glamorous ever, but her make-up artist Mallika Bhat says that apart from looking ultra glam, she will also sport a "Barbie doll-look" in the action thriller."One of Kareena's looks in the film isinspired by Barbie doll," Bhat told IANS over telephone from Mumbai."One day, while on the shoot, she came out of her vanity van and was ready for her shot. She was wearing a baby pink tube top with a white skirt and I gave her a creamy baby pink lipstain her lips. Her hair was straight - and as soon as I saw her, I told her how much she looked like Barbie doll," sh
Kareena Kapoor Hindi: करीना कपूर, pronounced on September 21, 1980), informally referred to as Bebo, is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood films. During her career, Kapoor has received five Filmfare Awards and has been noted for her performances in a range of film genres; these include her work from contemporary romantic dramas to comedies, period films to major Bollywood productions, as well as less publicised independent films.
Born into a family where both her parents, Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and her elder sister Karisma were actors, Kapoor faced the media spotlight from a very young age, but did not make her acting debut until the 2000 film Refugee. Her melodrama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... became India's highest-grossing film in the overseas market in 2001, and is one of her biggest commercial successes to date.[7] After receiving negative reviews for a series of repetitive roles, Kapoor accepted more demanding parts in order to avoid being typecast, and was consequently recognized by critics for displaying greater versatility as an actress. Her portrayal of a sex worker in Chameli (2004) proved to be the turning point in her she was later noted for her performances in the critically acclaimed Dev (2004) and Omkara (2006).In 2007, Kapoor received her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in Jab We Met, a romantic comedy directed by Imtiaz Ali. She went on to play the lead female role in the thriller Kurbaan (2009), for which she earned critical acclaim, and the drama 3 Idiots (2009), which became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. Having done so, Kapoor has established herself as a leading actress of the Hindi film industry. In addition to movie acting, Kapoor is a regular stage performer and has launched her own clothing line in association with being the brand ambassador for the retail chain Globus. Her off-screen life, including her relationship with actor Saif Ali Khan, is the subject of wide media coverage in India.
In 2008, she co-starred alongside Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor in Vijay Krishna Acharya's action-thriller Tashan. Though a poll conducted by Bollywood Hungama named it as the most anticipated release of the year, the film eventually became a commercial and critical failure. She next provided her voice for the character of Laila, the love interest of a street dog named Romeo, in the Yash Raj Films and Walt Disney Pictures animated film Roadside Romeo. It was the second Bollywood film to receive a North American release by a Hollywood studio. In preparation for the role, Kapoor viewed several Hollywood animated films to analyse how actors delivered their dialogues. Kapoor then appeared in Rohit Shetty's comedy Golmaal Returns, the sequel to the 2006 film Golmaal. A part of an ensemble cast that included Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor, Kapoor played a distrustful wife who believed her husband to be unfaithful. The film received ambivalent reception from critics and Kapoor herself received mixed reviews. The Indian Express believed the screenplay was unoriginal, concluding, "There is nothing particularly new about a suspicious wife keeping tabs on her husband, and there is nothing particularly new in the way Kareena plays it. Returns was nonetheless a major financial success, with revenues of Indian rupee793

Shahrukh Khan to make his career with Oscar-winner Danny Boyle!
Shahrukh Khan to make his career with Oscar-winner Danny Boyle!: The Oscar-winner Danny Boyle has had plans to make another film on the city of Mumbai ever since he completed Slumdog Millionaire.
So, Danny set his eyes on the critically acclaimed novel by Suketu Mehta, based on Mumbai, Maximum City: Bombay Lost and Found and wants Shahrukh Khan in the film.
This time the Khan can’t say no to Danny. Earlier he refused to do Slumdog and that role went to Anil Kapoor. Now, Anil is shooting for Mission Impossible 4 and has also acted in a US TV series. As per reports, Danny will start shooting the film by 2011 and has met Shahrukh for the project. However, the novel has the city of Mumbai as its main character.
As sound engineer Resul Pookutty, who won Oscar for Slumdog Millionaire, tells a tabloid, ‘Maximum City’ will be very different from Slumdog.
We agree to him as the book explores the interconnected worlds of Mumbai’s slum-dwellers, bar dancers, the dingy underworld and even the Hindu radicals.
