Katrina Kaif to give some extra time to Imran Khan’s wedding: Katrina Kaif had no issues working for some extra hours so that her Mere Brother Ki Dulhan co-star Imran Khan can have a tension-free wedding. She is also postponing her Christmas holiday with her family.

Marriage happens once (mostly) and that’s why Kat is so helpful to Imran.

While talking to a tabloid the actress reveals, “Imran is a really cool guy. I don’t mind working extra-time to wrap up our schedule in time for his wedding. Shootings will go on. Imran’s wedding will happen only once.”

Katrina also has Tees Maar Khan release lined up for December’s last week and she is busy visiting places for its promotion, so the actress did not mind missing her holiday this year. Every year Kat flies off to London to be with her mother and siblings to celebrate Christmas; that’s like a ritual for the lady and she doesn’t like to skip it, but she made an exception for Imran and Tees Maar Khan this year.

Imran Khan’s wedding is on January 8 and before that Kat has to complete the schedule; she will join her family later, but has to spend Christmas working.

The scene had Katrina sitting pillion while Imran took the handle of a Chetak scooter. Both her hands were carrying shopping bags while Imran’s peeved expression said it all.

Kat plays an impulsive character in the film which is directed by the debutant director Ali Abbas Zafar.

She is crazy, short-tempered, and stubborn. In short a beauty with nakhre. This role came as quite challenge for this B-town hottie, who is otherwise very simple, and down-to-earth in real life.

As the actress tells a daily, “The girl in Ali's film is... something else. I have to go completely outside myself to play her. Whom am I observing to play the role? I am not telling.”

Kat has started the shooting of the film and is working for the first time opposite Pakistani actor Ali Zafar. The movie is named Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

Katrina Kaif sixteen times slapped to Imran Khan: It seems newbie Imran Khan is highly inspired by his uncle – Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan, for the actor recently took sixteen tight slaps from Katrina on his quest for perfect execution of slap scene in ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’.

Filming for an emotionally charged scene in Yash Raj’s latest film, the shoot turned out into a slap fest as an innovative Imran chose realistic portrayal of a tight slap.

Apparently, the script required only a single slap but it was Imran, who insisted Katrina to slap him for real, not once but sixteen times.

Talking to a news daily on Imran’s weird request, Katrina said, "Left to me, I`d have done just one fake slap and moved on.

But Imran insisted that I do it realistically. Imran even called his `boy` to count the number of slaps. It had to be 16 tight slaps, no more and no less. I don`t know why he wanted to be slapped that exact number of times."

Even though Katrina isn’t proud of the pain she gave to Imran, she’s quite happy about the authenticity of the slap as she added, "It`s the most authentic screen-slap audiences will ever see".

Hmm…just wondering had it been a kissing scene, what Imran would have suggested to Katrina?

Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan's Yash Rajfilms 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' first look: Yash Raj Films' much anticipated project with Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan and Ali Zafar has been titled Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The romantic comedy is written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is a musical romantic comedy set amongst upper middle class families in North India. Described as a topsy-turvy story which takes you on a fun-filled ride of humour and romance, where Imran falls in love with his brother's (Ali Zafar) dulhan (Katrina)!

The Director, Ali Abbas Zafar, has been with the Yash Raj Banner for many years and has assisted on films such as Badmaash Company, New York, Tashan and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.

This will be the first time Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen together in a film.

Filming for the movie started in Pataudi last week. Shooting will continue in Himachal and Punjab and will wrap in November.

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is expected to release in mid-2011.
